PREPARE FOR SUCCESS (backpack supply drive)
Bring collected backpack supplies to the June 7th Council meeting OR the PTA (and individuals) can purchase for $25 two (or more) filled backpacks at: www.prepareforsuccess.org  
Please be sure to list your PTA for statistical purposes


ELECTIONS 
As your PTA has its elections, please forward your officers contact information to the Council’s office. The form is at: http://www.ptachc.org/Cresources/Cforms/newofficersdirectoryform.doc  Thank you. Deadline is June 15. 

Thank you to the 19 (out of 71 PTAs) AHS, BBES, BBMS, BPES, BSES, BMMS, Cedar Lane, CHS, CLES, CCES, FQMS, LKMS, Lisbon, MWMS, MHHS, MRHS, PRES, SJLES, and WFES, who have sent in their new officer contact list. 
Send them by email (ptachc@gmail.com) or fax (410-740-1207) or pony to PTACHC @ Faulkner Ridge Whatever way is easiest for you but please do it as soon as your elections occur or by June 15th. Thank you.


TREASURER'S TIMELINE http://ptachc.org/CTreasurer_guidelines/timeline.htm  

Please remember that every local PTA is expected to abide by the National PTA policy of having an independent Reconciliation review/audit of the books, annually. It is mandatory that each local PTA send a copy of the Audit Report to the MD PTA or PTACHC Treasurer by Sept. 1.

June 
1. Pay all outstanding bills by June 30th 
2. Close the books by June 30th 
3. Look for Sales Tax Form, if applicable 
4. Outgoing treasurer turn over all books to new treasurer after the audit is completed.
