1. Attend MD PTA Fall
Convention
2. Plan for observance of
American Education Week. This is a great time to showcase your
school and your PTA.
3. Has your PTA paid all
its obligations? Dues to PTA Council of Howard County, MD
& National PTA dues. Also, will your PTA
contribute to the PTA Council Scholarship Fund? Donations are
welcome at any time during the year but to plan how many scholarships to
give to our Howard County students, it is best to know early how much may
be available.
4. Continue to advocate in
the HCPSS operating budget process.
5. Reflections Arts
Program, during American Education Week is a good time to showcase the
children's work before forwarding the winners on to the county
level.
Thank you for advocating on behalf of every child, one voice
