GYPSY MOTH AERIAL SPRAYING– why be concerned?
 |
Gypsy Moths, an introduced species, cause environmental damage to forest and shade trees. The larvae eat the leaves of oaks and other trees in May and June. Gypsy moth populations normally are suppressed through natural controls, predators, parasites, and, diseases However, if these natural controls have not suppressed the populations, areas may need to be treated with insecticide to protect trees in areas where dieback or mortality can't be tolerated. |
